These terms cover every tool on chatwithpdf.tools (Chat with PDF and its PDF tools, Chat with Excel, Local GPT). The full terms of Tools That Don't Upload, run by the same operator, also apply. If the two differ, the full terms apply.

The Service

The tools are free and need no account. They run in your browser and your files stay on your device. The tools are provided as they are, without a promise that they will always be available or error-free.

AI Output

AI answers, summaries, translations and contract or resume reviews can be wrong or incomplete. Check important results yourself. Contract analysis is not legal advice.

Llama Models

Browser AI mode runs Meta Llama models. By using it you agree to follow the Llama Acceptable Use Policy. License copies and the policy are on /licenses/.

Your API Key

If you use your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, and any charges are billed to your account by the provider.

Your Content

You are responsible for having the right to use the files you open with the tools. We do not receive them.
